Joan Tapiol Barberà (Tarragona, 1921 – Barcelona, ​​2015). Joan Tapiol studied at San Jordi School of Fine Arts in Barcelona. He celebrated it’s first individual exhibition in 1945, year in which obtained the Tapiró medal in Tarragona. In 1953 he exhibited his works in Caracas, acquiring great success. Throughout its artistic race it emphasizes in the realization of portraits, still lifes, as well as of landscapes.
